HIS HOLINESS SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR LAYS THE FOUNDATION STONE FOR THREE PROJECTS AT MARG SWARNABHOOMI
Chennai, November 27, 2009: MARG Limited, India's leading diversified infrastructure development company, today laid the Foundation Stone for MARG Utsav, Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music [SAM] and the Art of Living centre at their mega-infrastructure project MARG Swarnabhoomi, at the hands of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder, the Art of Living, one of the largest voluntary organisations in the world.
MARG Utsav, the smart apartments project launched by MARG ProperTies, which is housed in a residential gated community at MARG Swarnabhoomi, has been designed to offer two bedroom, two bedroom plus and three bedroom apartments; and comes with rich features and amenities such as senior citizen's park, jogging track, day care, swimming pool, badminton court, children's play area and car wash bay.

Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music - envisioned by Prasanna, world renowned guitarist and music composer, with Mr. R. Prasanna as President, has been aimed at creating a world class institute, with residential facilities, for contemporary music with a wide range of majors designed to prepare young musicians toward a career in music.
The Art of Living centre, the first of its kind in Chennai, will come up on a 7 acre plot at MARG Swarnabhoomi, and will be designed to represent Cultural heritage, Art and Architecture of the Ancient India in the contemporary world. The centre would house a 5000 seater open air theatre and also a 5000 seater covered Satsang Hall. The centre would also house galleries representing various literatures about Yogic and relaxing methods as specified in our ancient scriptures. There would be an exhibition hall which would indicate Art of Living activities in addition to the various interesting anecdotes from our ancient culture and civilization. Also it will have training centres of about 3000 sq. ft., where training can be given to the various kinds of people including corporate groups.
